Partner closely with product teams to develop tooling and processes that enable product teams to rapidly localize new functionality. And work closely with the localization, site, and content creation teams to identify automation and connectors opportunities to optimize localization workflows
Promote internationalization standards across product development
Add localization-readiness checks to our CI pipeline to ensure we ship properly localized products
Ensure our non-English-speaking users receive a first-class user experience, regardless of their language preferences
Build tools that simplify the process of translating and reviewing site content and build translation memory management & term base management workflows where necessary
Design and build Restful API services and write unit testing using the Jest framework
Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems
Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows and facilitate upgrading existing workflows
Work with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter
What we need in you?
3+ years of professional experience with Node.JS/ JavaScript/ Typescript
Familiarity with cryptography, or multi-party computing, or distributed computing theory or blockchain development especially Ethereum code
Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
Familiarity with P2P networks
Strong knowledge of bitcoin-like blockchains
Strong knowledge of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code
3+ years of experience working on high-performance, aggressive-load web services
Extensive Relational Database experience and/or exposure to NoSQL
Experience in using git and git-enabled services
Following programming standards experience is preferred (1) ES6 (2) Functional Programming
Must have designed, built, scaled, and maintained large-scale production services, and know-how to compose a service-oriented architecture
Demonstrated programming capability in vanilla JavaScript
